For new connections, a list of special numbers Golden Category has been shared with Faysal Bank. Users who opt for a new connection can choose a number of their choice from the list. Sale Scenarios:

Existing Ufone Users

Users using an existing Ufone prepaid, postpaid or MNP users will be required to upgrade product where required and upgrade to package: Postpay Smartphone Plan. Existing users who have opted for a golden number can also acquire the golden number on existing IMSI with number change activity.

New Ufone Users:

Users who have opted for a new number will be provided a golden number upon SIM purchase. SIM shall be activated on Postpay Smartphone Plan. In case the customer want the new SIM to be issued in any other individual’s name, the customer can do so however the referral needs to be present along with the original customer at the service center.

Special Instructions for OMO Users:

OMO customers who hold a valid Faysal Bank Gold or Platinum CC if require this promo can avail the offer on their OMO number however will be required to MNP first before placing an order. MNP requests for such customers will follow special instructions while registering request on Ufone MNP helpline. Once such customer calls MNP helpline he will clearly mention that he want to MNP his number for participation in Faysal Bank – Ufone Postpay Smart Plan. MNP helpline staff will tag the subscriber and once MNP request has been successful and user has ported on Ufone network, Ufone shall inform Faysal Bank of successful activation. Faysal Bank will then confirm order from customer. If the user does not follow special instructions for MNP process, Ufone will not be able to intimate Faysal Bank and customer order will not be confirmed.

There will be 12 monthly installments for each handset i.e. BlackBerry Z10 will have monthly installment of Rs 6,300, BlackBerry Q10 will have monthly installment of Rs 6,700 and Samsung S4 will have monthly installment of Rs 7,000. Installment split and total 12 month installment are provided in below table. Golden Number worth Rs 2000 is also available on FOC basis for new connections.

Postpay Smartphone Plan will have the following tariff:There is no further tax applicable on the fixed monthly installment. The monthly package plan line rent of Rs 1,579 (Taxes Inclusive) is included in the fixed monthly installment. After the expiry of 12 months, customer can continue to use the package plan by only paying the package line rent. The monthly device installment will cease after 12 months.

This MIB is being issued to communicate the implementation of free of charge USSD based balance inquiry for Postpay subscribers.

Postpay BI similar to Prepaid BI will act as a pivotal promotion medium to promote latest postpay offers and VAS promotions to postpay subscribers in addition to providing convenient balance query service.

Details for implementation:

• Customers can avail the balance inquiry service by pressing *129#
• The following information will be displayed on the USSD prompt:
  
  
  
  1. Total: Contains total bill of the subscriber generated till date. This figure will reflect the same amount as the total figure in the 456 balance query SMS
  2. Usage %: Reflects the total % of utilized credit limit
  3. Minimum Payment: The minimum amount required to top-up account to resume outgoing services once 97% of limit is reached. USSD access to this service will remain open upon blocking of outgoing voice and VAS.
